For five years, Efness traded under the open sun. Carrying her goods from one dusty market to another, hoping to sell enough to feed her children. Every day was a battle between survival and exhaustion, with never a stable place to build from.
Still, she refused to give up. Her dream was a simple one: to give her children a life better than her own. But without solid ground beneath her, that dream stayed just out of reach, day after walking day.

When we met Efness, she had already proven her determination. All she needed was a stable place to grow. With support from Forgotten Women, she received her own shop: a small space that became the foundation of her freedom. Today she sends her children to school, provides three nutritious meals a day, and can afford her medication without fear of tomorrow.
