How we invest your Zakah
Your Zakah will be invested into our Transforming Lives project which is based around our LIFT Model (refer to diagram above), this enables us to take a one-off donation to set a woman up for life rather than making her dependent on monthly handouts. Your one-off donation of your Zakah will create independences which means a woman can stand on her own feet and earn an income which in turn means she can take care of providing food, shelter and education for herself and her family and you will reap the rewards for years to come. Women tend to spend 90% of her income back into her family, investing in a woman is the fastest way to eradicatepoverty worldwide, be part of the change
Transforming Lives in a Nutshell
A simple personalised approach is implemented, every woman has a different skillset and passion, this is why it is important and part of a successful project construct that the team sit with each woman and let her draw up her own business plan. We evaluate / cost the business and create a profit forecast. If everyone is happy, we will then give training on how to handle that particular business and then accompany each woman to buy her business components. The nature of businesses range from beauty salons, women’s café, shoemaking and even tailoring.

The cost of setting up a woman is £1000, but you can donate whatever you like and it will goes towards the overall cause, both projects benefits you, the end user and whole communities.
Your Zakah combined with our LIFT model will give women greater economic empowerment which not only benefits their families, households, communities, but ultimately their country. Our aim is to reduce inequality and increase economic growth for the less developing countries. We envision a world where every woman is given the opportunity to live a life free from humiliation, poverty and abuse. A world in which women are free to preserve their dignity, health, well-being and economic independence.
